Molly Tarlov has been an American actress since 2011. She is known best for playing Sadie Saxton, the star of Awkward the teen drama comedy show on television. Tarlov is the younger daughter of a family from Manhattan. In the Little Red School House performance of Bye Bye Birdie she played the character of Mrs. Peterson. She was the most popular actress in a group 7th graders. Later in her career, she studied at NYU Tisch at Paris and Interlochen Center for the Arts. Bennington College awarded her a Bachelor of Arts degree in theatre. The course covered a wide range of styles of acting. The Atlantic Theater Company also taught her, as she learned to incorporate writing into her performance in her LAByrinth Theater Masters Course. Molly changed her dark winter jacket for a pair of black sunglasses and headed to Los Angeles. A short, three-word segment of iCarly quickly caught the eye of her parents. In the years since, she's made several TV appearances. She also created the character of Caitlin in Winnie Holzman's ABC Family show Huge. Molly is a pro basketball athlete who believes she's better than she really is. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
