She was born on March 29 1985 in Roswell New Mexico. Gerina is the given name of her. Gerina Stevenson was born in Mexico in the family of Mexican parents Alan Stevenson and Rita Stevenson. Her heritage is Mexican American but has American nation by birth. Her passion for sports was born as a toddler. Gerina played golf when she was just age 15. Gerina finished her high-school education through Goddard High School. The school won her place in the New Mexico State Golf Tournament at the age of high school. Also, she played volleyball at the level of state. The first time she attended in the University of Texas. Through the latter seasons of her professional career, she won each tournament that she participated in. During undergraduate studies, she earned the titles as Conference USA Female Athlete and Conference USA Individual Player of the year.
